David was a youth pastor for 20 years serving in Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina.  He is married to Judith and they have six boys: Dawson and Smyth are twins born in 2003, Davis born in 2005, Emerson born in 2006, Sawyer and Wyatt born in 2008. He is a graduate of Covenant College and Metro Atlanta Seminary. He presently serves at Perimeter Church in the Life on Life division as a teaching pastor.
